Data Deletion Request

You can request deletion of your Hey Papi™ account and the data associated with it at any time. We honor deletion requests from contractors who hold an account and from homeowners whose contact information was entered by a contractor.

Option 1 — In the app

Open Hey Papi and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm. Deletion begins immediately.

Option 2 — By email

Email privacy@heypapi.ai with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

• The email address or mobile number on the account.
• Your name or business name.
• Whether you want the full account deleted or only your phone number removed from messaging.

We will verify your identity before acting on the request and will respond within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile and login credentials.
• Job content you created: photos, scans, voice recordings and transcripts, measurements, estimates, proposals, and change orders.
• Customer contact records you entered.
• Message history associated with your account.

What we may retain

We retain a limited set of records where the law requires it or where we have an overriding obligation:

• SMS opt-out records. If you replied STOP, we must keep your number on a suppression list so we do not message you again. This is a carrier and TCPA requirement and cannot be deleted.
• Billing and tax records. Invoices and transaction records are retained as required by tax and accounting law.
• Backups. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten on the normal backup rotation.
• Records held by your contractor. If a contractor exported or saved a quote outside Hey Papi, that copy is under their control, not ours.

Stopping texts without deleting your account

If you only want messages to stop, reply STOP to any text from us. That takes effect immediately and does not require a deletion request.
